Greetings My Brethren and Sisters in Jesus Christ,

I would like to talk to you about the theme, “Keep It Moving.” January has just passed and that is the month that we get started for the new year. But what we have started, we need to continue to “keep it moving.” Whether it’s a new vision for the new ministry, starting a new relationship or starting a new business, we need to stay focused on what our objectives are. You’re going to have oppositions, troubles and trials, but no matter what, you must stay focused and “keep it moving.” Jesus said in John 16:33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. In the book of St. Luke chapter 4, Jesus had to deal with the devil and overcome the threefold temptations, the Bible said in St. Luke 4:14-15: And Jesus return in power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the regions roundabout. And he taught in their synagogues being glorified of all. If you notice, He didn’t let Satan stop him or stand in his way, from carrying out God’s mission.

And it goes on to say that he went to Nazareth where he was brought up and he went into the synagogue and stood up to read on the Sabbath day. (if you don’t mind, I like to paraphrase) and after he read Isaiah 61:1: and told the people, this day the Scripture is fulfilled in your ears. The people became angry and wanted to throw him off the cliff. Then Jesus said, verily, verily or truly, truly I say unto you no prophet is accepted in his own country. St. Luke 4:24: We who are called Spiritual leaders, want to stay in our own little comfortable box, when God has called us to conquer the world. Well let’s get back to the message. Here is the exciting part in St. Luke 4:30-32: But he passing through the midst of them went his way, And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days. And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power. The point I like to make here is that from the beginning to the end of Jesus ministry, he didn’t let anything stop Him from going to Calvary to save you and me.

So, if God has given you a mission or task to carry out, come hell or high water, he has given you the power to get it done. If people are talking negative about you as you undertake the mission that was given you, let them talk, at least they remember you. If it looks like you are going through Hell, in the mist of carrying out the task, just keep going! At least you are going through hell for a heavenly cause. “Just keep it moving.” If people don’t understand you and think you’re kind of strange, they won’t understand you anyway. So, “Just keep it moving,” because the Bible say we’re a peculiar people anyway. So, whatever you undertake or whatever task God is giving you. Don’t give up or throw your hands in, roll up your sleeves, get busy, stay focused and remember, Isiah 59:19: So, When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. “Just keep it moving!” Be Encouraged!

IHS,

Are You Keepin’ It Movin’?

When I think about “Keepin’ It Movin’ it means to me that my life is purpose filled with God directing my path. There’s no time to procrastinate if I plan to complete the things God has assigned me to do. It is my belief that there is work to be done between the dashes of life to death. So, if I am in motion doing the work God has called me to do, I believe that God will continue to use me for His higher good on the path set for me.

Keepin’ It Movin’ means that whatever God has for me is the path of my journey to get it done! To go thru, I think on Psalms 119:105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Knowing that obedience is better than sacrifice 1-Samuel-15-22: Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice

Keepin’ It Movin’ means, Lord I don’t always understand every step and how it will get done, but I am open to trust your direction. To go thru, I think on Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Keepin’It Movin’ means that there will be trials and tribulations that may be harsh and uncomfortable. As Pastor Jesse Duplantis said “ You may be going through hell….just don’t stop…. go through!”

What I have learned is through the process, it prepares you for what’s ahead. If you quit or have a pity party, that means you stop believing God and gave an ear to the enemy. The enemy will disrupt God’s plan for you right in the midst of your blessing if you let him. You see, he knows he is not invited to go where you are going.

What I know for sure is if we saw what was ahead we would never make it through. I am therefore persuaded to know that when trouble comes hide scriptures in your heart! Your blessings are right around the homestretch. Your impaired vision is renewed to see the light at the end of the tunnel for your blessings that await you.

We are blind sighted so we can lean and depend on the Holy Spirit. That is why God gives us blind faith. Faith to lean, faith to believe and faith to shake the dust off our feet to keep steppin’. How about you…..are you trusting God? Are You Keepin’ It Movin’?
